HKJ Starts Primavera Project

Project Launch

Raleigh-based DHIC, filed site plans last year for a project called Primavera, featuring 164 apartments available to seniors 55 years and older making less than average median income in the Triangle.

The project calls for 164 units cross two buildings, including 130 one-bedroom units and 34 two-bedroom units. Units will be available to seniors with incomes from 70, 60, 50 and 40 percent of the area median income.

In an article written by Caleb Harshberger, a staff writer for Triangle Business Journal, on July 28th, 2020, the following was stated by DHIC Vice President of real estate development Natalie Britt, “this will be the group’s first project with 70 percent AMI units, which help finance more units reserved for lower-income levels. Altogether, the property will average 60 percent AMI.”

“With all the craziness of 2020, we are excited for the opportunity to work with DHIC again. We believe this wonderful project will be a needed addition to the surrounding community,” says Scott Niebauer – Director of Business Development of Harold K. Jordan & Co.

Site work and utilities are in progress.
